We respond to the performance problems of entire workgroups by accurately identifying the underlying core problems causing the performance problems, creating a customized plan of action for you and providing you with the training material to accomplish it!

1. Ordering the Inventory

Workgroups are different from each other, they have different cultures, different problems, and therefore need separate Inventories to identify those differences.  When you place your order, you will be asked to identify the groups by a name such as Warehouse-1st shift and Warehouse-2nd shift.  A different example might be...you want to assess the problems for Accounts Payable and for the Sales Department.  It only makes sense to keep the responses separate for the two groups.

You will also be asked to determine if the group is a manager/supervisor group or an employee group with no supervisory responsibility.  Again, it only makes sense to keep the supervisors and employees separate since their problems are most likely different.  We have found that frank and open discussion will NOT occur if you mix managers/supervisors with employees.

In the ordering process, you will be asked to: A.  name the group, B. identify them as supervisors or employees, and C. tell us how many participants are in each group.  The result will be that you will have an assessment, a report and material specific to each group.

2. Administering the Inventory

The Inventory© is the 152 question, needs assessment tool that, when completed by the participants, will identify the specific issues and problems of each group and create a training plan to resolve them.  In taking 20 to 30 minutes of their time to complete the questionnaire, the participants will identify their own needs and create their own workgroup training plan and the training that will be the result.  In doing so, they will have a sense of ownership of the training and not feel that it was imposed on them.

Our client organizations usually prefer to have their participating employees respond individually to the assessment on the internet using their workgroup-specific Access Code.  However, we can also provide the assessment questionnaire in written form with identification of each workgroup on each set.  In either case, the individual responses are kept in strict confidence.  We only report the results by the group, as a whole.

3. The Targeted Training Plan

The Targeted Training Plan is the report of the results of the Inventory© for each workgroup.  It presents the seriousness of each problem area in terms of scores...the higher the score, the more the need for a training response.  The lower the score, the less likely training is needed.   In other words, it shows the group's strengths and weaknesses.  Those problem areas that exceed a pre-determined score will automatically trigger our selection and shipment of training materials along with the Targeted Training Plan.  You now know what the problems are and have the tools to fix them.

4. The Facilitated
    Training Sessions

WORKPOINTS® provides you with all the material needed to facilitate successful sessions to resolve the identified problem areas for each specific workgroup.  You will receive a package that contains the Targeted Training Plan, a Trainer Guide for your trainer to conduct each session and a Trainer Manual as a "how to" to get the best results from our facilitative model.  You will also receive the participant handouts and exercises for each Module that responds to a particular problem area for you to duplicate or copy for the participants.   Your trainer will be guiding each group through discussion, self-surveys and problem-solving exercises to bring them to the point where they will recognize what "doesn't work" and what they need to change to "make it work."  As each participant makes their own changes, small or large, the result will be a positive change for the entire group.

HERE'S WHAT $24.95 PER PARTICIPANT DELIVERS:
(There is a minimum charge of $249.50 for less than 10 participants.)
